The last thing we want is for you to forget something before visitng us. We want your process with us to be agile and efficient. Consider the following before planning your trip.

2. Tell us your needs

When you contact us, we will request a brief description of the service you require, as well as some basic personal information (name, address, telephone number where you can be reached). Afterwards you will be requested to complete a clinical form to provide us important information about your visit.

3. Relevant medical material and scheduling appointments

If deemed convenient, your coordinator will request delivery of the relevant medical material (clinical trials, whether digital or on paper, x-rays and/or any other document necessary for review by the attending physician in Monterrey).

It is important that you tell us the dates you wish or need to visit us.

Our goal is to provide high quality tailored healthcare services and guarantee a pleasant stay for all of our foreign patients and their families.

Once this information is complete, the department of Patient Care Services will schedule an appointment with the adequate physician.

After the physician appointed by TecSalud has reviewed the case, he shall deliver an opinion you shall promptly receive. If applicable, such opinion will include a budget with all of the aspects of your treatment.

Please note that this budget is only an estimate. There may be variations due to the evolution of your particular case after having started treatment.

4. What else can we do for you?

After approval and acceptance of the budget presented to you, we can help with the planning of your trip. 

We can help with everything: from your departure and arrival in Monterrey, hotel recommendations and reservations, preferred rates and other exclusive benefits, to transportation and information for moving around the city during your stay. 

Rest assured we will do everything possible to make sure you have a relaxed and pleasant stay.

Arriving in Monterrey, Mexico

Monterrey has an international airport and a central bus station which connects the whole country and a great number of international cities. 

Our Patient Care Services may assist you with your travel concerns. In addition, Monterrey has easy road access from anywhere in the country.

Tell us where you're coming from and we shall find the best option. If you're visiting from abroad, we recommend contacting the corresponding authorities in order to verify the requirements for entering into Mexico.

We have special rates agreements with different hotels. When making your reservation mention that you are coming with us in order for them to apply the appropriate fee.

At your arrival you will be welcomed by the coordinators from the Department of Patient Care Services. They will guide you through our facilities and give you a map of the selected hospital and its surroundings, in addition to a list of the services provided by Patient Care Services Office:

  • Scheduling medical appointments.
  • Assistance with payment methods.
  • Locating banks and other establishments in the city.
  • Hotel reservations
  • Religious/spiritual assistance

After your stay

Be sure to gather and take all of your belongings with you, such as medical exams and other material acquired throughout your visit.

Insurance providers

We have agreements with insurance companies, and our hospitals have highly qualified personnel who can help you with paperwork, if you have medical insurance.

In order to expedite the process, please make sure you have the following information with you:

  • Notice of injury/illness form, completely filled out
  • Medical report form (attending physician), completely filled out
  • For patients of legal age, an official ID (Driver's License or Passport).
  • Insurance Company Card.

These documents shall be rendered during the first 24 hours after admission.

In the event of a car accident:

  • Render the approval letter of the insurance company at the information offices located in the hospital (the approval letters are issued by an adjuster).
  • If you do not have an approval letter please ask for information at the Insurance Information Desk.
